If you are new to collecting Fiesta ware you will have many exciting options. Vintage items, those produced from 1936 until 1972. Retired pieces are those pieces and colors that were produced after 1986 and then were discontinued. New Fiesta has been produced since 1986 and the colors are still being used today.
Fiesta began in 1936. Originally only 5 colors were used Red Blue, Green, Yellow and Ivory. The following year Turquoise was added. FIESTA® was an immediate hit with the public and, by it’s second year of production, more than one million pieces were produced.
